Kansas City Current has announced its local broadcast partners for the 2026 season, marking a significant step in enhancing the fan experience. For the fifth consecutive season, the club will broadcast select matches and pregame shows locally on the Spot, Kansas City 38, in partnership with KSHB 41. Additionally, every Current match will be available in Spanish and Portuguese on the KC Current App, thanks to a collaboration with Tico Sports. This initiative aims to bring the excitement of women's football to a broader audience in Kansas City. KC Current's Vice President of Communications, Dani Welniak, expressed pride in working with local partners to share the club's story and matches with fans. The Spot, Kansas City 38 will air four locally produced games, starting with the Current’s road match against Seattle Reign on March 25. Select broadcasts will feature a 30-minute pregame show, KC Current Matchday, which will include interviews and analysis. Furthermore, the station will simulcast all Current matches on ION, totaling 14 games and 13 pregame shows in 2026. Fans can also listen to every match on 90.9 The Bridge, which continues its partnership with the club for a third season. This collaboration highlights the commitment to delivering comprehensive coverage of the Kansas City Current and engaging fans in the local community.
