Kansas City Current youth players learned Dutch soccer fundamentals and life skills from the Royal Dutch Football Association's World Coaches Program at the KC Current training facility. The program, an initiative of the Royal Dutch Football Association, aims to teach the game to kids and coaches around the world. Over 100 local Kansas City youth soccer players participated in the program, learning new knowledge and skills, including how to move the ball and when to play a three-ball or switch the field. Dutch national team players made time to sign autographs and take pictures with the kids, despite the heat. The KC Current made the perfect partner for the program, believing that every girl deserves the opportunity to play and having well-equipped coaches, especially female coaches, is the way to do so.
